PDDH, as the local health department for its member municipalities, serves as the official publick health entity with areas of responsibility and services including, but not limited to the following:
Shingles Vaccine (Zostavax)
- New!If you had chicken pox you are at risk for getting shingles. The CDC recommends all people age 60 and over receive one dose of shingles vaccine.
Immunization Program
- New!Protecting yourself or your children from vaccine-preventable diseases is an important part of preventing outbreaks of disease.
Healthy Eating Program
This 8-hour program will focus on healthy eating habits and food preparation.
Live Well
Live Well is for older adults with chronic health conditions and caregivers.
Cholesterol Monitoring

Blood Pressure Monitoring
Blood pressure screenings are offered on a walk-in basis and are staffed by a registered nurse.
Medicial Reserve Corp
