- Game dinners
open to the public
- Community
organization's suppers and breakfasts
- Any
commercial establishment (restaurant, itinerant vendors, etc.) which
will be serving food to the public.
Situations
when you do not need a temporary food service permit:
- If the event
is open only to members of an organization or congregation and not
the general public.
- For example:
- Church pot luck suppers
- Game dinners for club members only
- If only non-potentially
hazardous foods (cookies, desserts without cream fillings, etc.) are
being served such as a bake sale or a school sporting event where
pre-packaged snacks (potato chips, candy, etc.) are served.
