COMMUNITY IMMUNIZATIONS

Community Immunizations
Immunization clinics for adults and children were held in 2002 - 2003. The vaccinations offered were: Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR); Diphtheria, Tetanus and Pertussis (DTP); Oral Polio (OPV); Haemophilus b (HIB); Adult Tetanus boosters (td); and Hepatitis "B". The Health District began providing meningococccal vaccinations to entering college students for the first time in May of 2003. As an additional service at all the clinics, lead screenings and hemoglobin measurements were offered.
