What do those numbers mean?

Total Cholesterol: LDL Cholesterol:

Desirable less than 200 mg/dl Desirable less than 130 mg/dl

Borderline-high 200 - 239 mg/dl Borderline-high 130 — 159 mg/dl

High 240 mg/dl and over High 160 mg/dl or higher

HDL Cholesterol: Triglycerides:

Must be a fasting test

High 400 — 1000 mg/dl
