About Us


The Pomperaug District Department of Health is a separate governmental entity that receives funding from a combination of town contributions, state grants, and permit fees. The member towns are charged on a per-capita basis which, during the 2002 - 2003 fiscal year, is $6.95. Our total expenditure for the past fiscal year was $606,572.
